My main gallery is on my My Etsy Shop, where most of my current stock is listed – many with multiple images – and that is also the easiest way to buy from me (other options are shown on my How to Buy page.

The gallery below is just a small sample, and many of the pieces will have already been sold. But despair not – if you see something here that is no longer available, you can always commission me to make something similar.

NOTE: prices shown are either the current list price on Etsy, or the price it was sold at.

All my mills are fitted with a fully adjustable ceramic grinders, suitable for either salt or pepper. Provided you do not over-tighten them, they should last you a lifetime. They have an oiled finish which will last many years, even in the kitchen, eventually dulling slightly to give a more natural satin patina. The inside of the mills have also been oiled, so there is no risk of any allergic reaction to any of the woods that I use. To refill, simply pull the top off the mill. The adjustment for coarseness of grind is on the bottom, so you don’t have to re-adjust every time you refill. You will not be disappointed!

Apart from the large mills, they are generally sold as a pair in contrasting woods to indicate salt & pepper.

Large Pepper Mills

For the flamboyant chefs among you! It’s the type that you may see in an Italian restaurant – although unlikely to be as nice as any of these. Sizes vary, but generally 420 mm – 450 mm high and will therefore fit under kitchen wall units (assuming ‘standard’ clearance of about 490 mm from worktop).

Swept Top Mills

This contemporary design is guaranteed to attract comments at the dinner table.
All 225 mm high, prices are for the pair.

Mushroom Mills

This design is the first shape that I made using this type of mechanism, nearly 20 years ago, and is still the most popular. It is also the most ergonomic, with even a weak grip able to grasp the lip.
All 145 mm high, prices are for the pair.

Snowmen Mills

Or in the summer, I may refer to this shape as ‘Ballerinas’!
All 145 mm high, prices are for the pair.

Skittle Mills

I think ‘skittle’ describes this shape best, although you’d need a few pairs to have enough for a game!
All 175 mm high, prices are for the pair.
