I don’t photograph every item I make – I would rather be playing with wood – so this gallery is representative of the items I make.

I hope you like it!

If you see something that you would like, then contact me.  Even if it’s not in stock, I may have similar items or I can give you a timescale for making you something similar.

If you can’t find what you are looking for, then it is still worth contacting me.  I may simply have overlooked putting it in my gallery, or I can give you a quotation for a special commission.

Bowls
My bowls have an oiled finish and are suitable for food use - ideal for salad, fruit, crisps, nuts or the like. Just wipe over with a damp cloth and dry with a piece of paper kitchen towel. Do not immerse in water or put in the dishwasher - believe me, it's been done! The finish should last may years, but can be rejuvenated if required. See the information on my aftercare page. Alternatively, you can just admire them!

Large Pepper Mills
Otherwise known as 'mother-in-law deterrents'. Fancy yourself as a flamboyant chef in the making? Then treat yourself to one of these. The fully adjustable ceramic grinders will last a lifetime - which is probably as long as you'll need to save up to fill it with pepper! They have an oiled finish which will last many years, eventually attaining a more satin look as a natural patina although the gloss finish can be rejuvenated if required - see the information on my aftercare page.
Salt & Pepper Mills
Whichever shape you choose, my mills will be a talking point at the dinner table. All mills are fitted with fully adjustable ceramic grinders, suitable for either salt or pepper. Provided you do not over-tighten them, they should last you a lifetime. They have an oiled finish which will last many years, eventually dulling slightly to give a more natural satin patina.
Clocks
Free-standing and Wall clocks. The wall and some of the larger free-standing clocks are radio controlled, powered by a single AA battery accessible from the rear. No more forgetting that the clocks have changed! The smaller clocks are powered by a watch battery and the clock can be easily prised out from the front of the housing to change the time or battery. Click here for full instructions and aftercare.
Pens and Pencils
So many to choose from, there's bound to be a type or style to suit every taste - well, so long as you like wood!
Click on this link to see a description of each style and availability of finishes, etc.
Narrow your choice by selecting the from the subcategories on the left.
Pots
All pots have a waxed finish and so do not like getting wet! Just wipe over with a lint-free cloth. The occasional treat of some good quality wax will keep them looking great. For further advice on re-waxing or on getting rid of marks, see my aftercare page.
Unlidded Pots Pots, dishes, small bowls - what's the difference and does it matter? My pots are great on the desk for paper-clips, or beside the bed for loose change and the like.
Lidded Pots My lidded pots are ideal for the dressing table for small items of jewellery. The inside has been sealed with a sanding sealer, but has no applied finish that could come off and clog the claws on rings or other jewellery.
Vases
These vases are generally intended to be decorative, but some do have glass inserts and so, with care, can be used for live flowers (see the care instructions on my aftercare page). This section also includes hollow forms, which (in my book, at least) is one where the inside profile follows the outside, such that the hollowing opens up inside below the neck.
Miscellaneous
All items that don't seem to fit into another category!!
Currently just Letter Openers and Magnifying glasses are shown in this gallery, but I have plenty of other items and these should follow soon. I'm currently too busy turning to photograph and catalogue them!

Mulberry Image
An unusual timber and one that is probe to cracking as it dries! However, the rustic effect and rich yellow colouring make this a very attractive bowl. It is food-safe, but the fragility of some of the bark probably mean limiting it to decorative use.
